Behind prison walls, where society often forgets, the Sri Sri Rural Development Programme Trust (SSRDP) is creating pathways of hope and second chances. Through its Prison Skill Development Program, SSRDP is empowering inmates with employable skills, nationally recognized certifications, and the confidence to rebuild their lives with dignity. Inspired by the vision of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the program shifts the focus from punishment to rehabilitation, transforming prisons into spaces of learning, growth, and purpose.

Rehabilitation Through Skills: Inmates gain employability in trades like solar installation, electrical work, plumbing, tailoring, data entry, carpentry, and more.
Reduced Recidivism: Many inmates start small businesses, secure jobs, or become peer trainers post-release.
Holistic Transformation: Alongside skilling, soft skills, confidence-building, and stress management sessions support reintegration.
Social Impact: Families reunite, prison environments improve, and society benefits from reduced costs of re-incarceration.
