The Border Village Development Project is creating transformative impact across education, environment, and community empowerment in border and Himalayan regions. Over 9,386 students receive education in free schools, while 5,760 college students across Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir gain life skills through Social-Emotional Learning Programs. Digital literacy reaches more than 15,000 students and 9 prisons in J&K, Sikkim, and Uttarakhand, complemented by solar-powered smart classrooms in over 100 schools. The project also restores the environment with 19 lakh trees planted, 70 herbal plantation drives, and transformative changes across 9 Himalayan landscapes, fostering resilient, thriving communities.
